Egyptian Contracting Centre was chosen by Fayoum Government to expand and transform fayoum’s main landmarks sawaay square, the cultural palace and the surrounding streets & sidewalks into a community park that could also accomodate festivals. The redevelopment involved demolishing existing structure and street along with complete renovation of the whole area including the watermills. A ground level fountain was installed surrounded by decorative marble; the street was rebuilt with brick crosswalks, palm trees and lightning poles. Fayoum governer opened the project in 2017 and it became one of the most distinguished parks in Egypt
